Martin Kenny – County Sligo

Originally from County Sligo, this amazing singer/song writer started his career in 1972. Writing songs at the age of 8, Martin keys in on real issues and real people. The man just pours his heart in soul into the people’s hearts as he captures our emotions. Two cd’s to his credit which have many original songs, but also include a few traditional Irish ballads. There is not a better version of “The Rocks of Bawn” that I am sure will capture us all! As a special guest, Martin is also bringing along a great friend and stage partner from County Galway “The Big Bamboo”.
